Victoria is a student at Heidelberg University, Germany. She recently earned her Master’s degree in Mathematics, with a thesis focused on high-dimensional statistics and its applications in medical research. In parallel, she is pursuing a degree in Medicine and is currently in her fifth year. She recently joined the Sampson Lab as a Visiting Researcher, where she works on the genetic causes of nephrotic syndrome. Her research interests lie at the intersection of medicine, mathematics, and data science, with a particular enthusiasm for translating statistical methods into clinical applications. Her long-term goal is to contribute to precision medicine through interdisciplinary research that bridges quantitative methods and patient care.
