Guy Chowers

Guy is a pediatric nephrology fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital. He received his MD from Tel Aviv University and completed his residency in Pediatrics at the Edmond and Lily Safra Children’s Hospital at Sheba Medical Center in Israel. Prior to fellowship, he conducted research in nephrogenetics, focusing on the identification and characterization of genetic causes of kidney disease.

He joined the Sampson Lab to pursue his interests in the genetics and molecular mechanisms of kidney disease. His current work includes a collaborative project with the Greka Lab at the Broad Institute, aimed at translating genetic discoveries in nephrotic syndrome into a better understanding of disease mechanisms and exploring their potential for therapeutic translation.
